The Keeper: Collectors and their Collections
16 March – 26 May 2019
The Keeper provided a fascinating peek into the lives of collectors. Moreton Bay Regional Council Museum Network and Redcliffe Museum, the exhibition featured ten collections, ranging from the Titanic to tea caddies. Our role was to design exhibition branding that reflected the unique qualities of the various objects, and the people who loved them.
Simple and honest storytelling
While the collections were different in size, shape and era, the exhibition needed to have a strong sense of cohesion. Using bold colours we created a harmonious built environment that subtly articulated difference. Our bright and functional palette worked on all surfaces and interfaces. An evolving pattern created a sense of anticipation when exploring the space — a bit like unwrapping a box of chocolates.
